Meta freezes Mercor deal after 4TB of sensitive data leaked
Meta has halted work with AI training data firm Mercor following a breach that exposed up to four terabytes of personal and professional information, two sources confirmed to Wired. The attack was traced to a compromised update of LiteLLM, an open-source library used by millions of AI developers. A hacking group claimed responsibility and began auctioning the stolen data on dark web forums.
