Mercedes prepare for intense second half of F1 season despite big lead

Mercedes lead both Formula 1 championships at the halfway point, but reliability problems have allowed rivals to close the gap. Deputy Technical Director Simone Resta said the pressure will increase in the second half of the season. The team lost over 60 points from issues like battery and electrical faults, with racing returning from August 21-23.
