Explained in plain English

How do championships work?

In Formula 1, there are two main championships: the Drivers' Championship and the Constructors' Championship. Drivers earn points based on their finishing position in each race, and the driver with the most points at the end of the season wins. Similarly, teams (constructors) accumulate points from both their drivers' performances, as Mercedes are doing in the story.
