8 Million Mini Fans Set for UK Sales
More people could face extra electronic waste as millions of small cooling devices are expected to be thrown away after use. Britons are forecast to buy almost 8 million mini fans during 2026 as hotter weather increases demand for low-cost cooling products. Around 4.3 million could reach landfill within a year, while searches for handheld fans have already exceeded all of 2025.
