Mbappe says France were too 'sloppy' in World Cup semi-final loss
France captain Kylian Mbappe said his team was too "sloppy" both technically and tactically during their 2-0 defeat to Spain in Arlington, Texas. He observed that poor communication during pressing allowed Spain's midfielders excessive time and space. Mbappe believes France did not play the game they wanted and couldn't hurt Spain when opportunities arose.
