Matthew Hudson-Smith wins historic third European 400m gold in Birmingham

Matthew Hudson-Smith secured his third European 400m title on his home track in Birmingham, becoming the joint-most decorated man at the championships. The 31-year-old's victory marked his eighth medal overall, equalling French sprinter Christophe Lemaitre's record tally. He finished in 44.17 seconds, saying he knew he was the best in the world.
