Marmoset monkey found abandoned in a laundry bag on London bus
Animal welfare officers saved a marmoset monkey, subsequently named Oyster, after its abandonment in a laundry bag on a London 302 bus. A driver found the female primate on Friday morning when the bus arrived at Kensal Rise. The RSPCA, an animal charity, fears this abandonment is a direct result of new legislation requiring primate pet licences.
