Man jailed for life for coercing woman into sex

At Norwich Crown Court, Rodney Johnston, aged 67, received a life sentence. The minimum jail term is 16 years. His crime involved forcing a woman into sexual acts with possibly 1,000 individuals across thirty years. Johnston filmed these encounters, which took place at hotels and isolated spots. He isolated the victim from her support network using threats. The abuse spanned from 1994 to 2024, even after she received treatment for a brain tumour.
