Man arrested for selling McSweeney's stolen phone

Concerns arose about important messages potentially lost from the stolen phone belonging to a former Downing Street chief of staff. Scotland Yard arrested a 28-year-old man last Wednesday for selling the device in Peckham. The phone, owned by Morgan McSweeney, was reportedly stolen on 20 October 2025.
