Man Arrested After Armed Standoff at Liverpool Hotel

Merseyside Police arrested a 35-year-old man and recovered a sword after a four-hour stand-off at Ropewalks Hotel on Seel Street, Liverpool. Officers were called around 4pm on May 9 after reports a missing man had been seen in the area. The stand-off ended at 8pm. The man was arrested on suspicion of making threats to kill.
