Mahomes becomes NFL's first $500m player

This new deal makes Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes the first NFL player to sign a contract worth over half a billion dollars. The three-time Super Bowl winner extended his contract by two years through to 2033, making it the biggest in sports history. He'll earn $504.75 million guaranteed, with his $64 million yearly average salary now the NFL's highest.
