Mahmood eyes Denmark's strict asylum model for UK

Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood visited Danish immigration centres near Copenhagen this week. Her trip aimed to promote a strict immigration approach for the UK, drawing from Denmark's model which has lowered asylum claims. Mahmood stated that "legitimate grievances" on immigration must be acknowledged, and she intends to implement temporary refugee status and longer waiting times for permanent residence.
