Macron awards Starmer France's highest honour for Ukraine security work
The Legion of Honour recognised Starmer's work on European security after Russia's 2022 invasion of Ukraine. Macron presented the award in Paris on Monday after Starmer's final Coalition of the Willing meeting, and the pair also attended Bastille Day events on Tuesday. British troops joined the French parade for the first time in more than 20 years, before Starmer leaves office on July 20.
