Meloni hits back after Trump says she begged for photo
Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has publicly rejected claims by Donald Trump that she repeatedly asked to be photographed with him at the G7 summit in France. In a video posted on X, Meloni said neither she nor Italy ever begs, and questioned why the US president treats his own allies this way while being more accommodating to opponents.
