London's FTSE 100 rises after the UK economy grows by 0.5%

The Office for National Statistics reported the unexpectedly strong second-quarter growth, which helped lift the value of British banking and utility companies. Shares in the high street bakery Greggs also jumped by 7.4% after the chain predicted higher annual profits.
