London pubs open late for World Cup games
London pubs are expecting a huge boost in sales during the upcoming World Cup, similar to their success during Euro 2024. The government has brought in new rules, letting pubs stay open until 1am or 2am for home nations' knockout games and encouraging 'pavement pints' outside. Hospitality bookings are already up two thirds, with pubs specifically seeing a 186% jump year on year.
