London police start using 20 new 50mph e-bikes to chase phone thieves
Reported phone thefts in London fell to 54,000 over the year ending in May, but under one per cent of those cases end with a charge. To catch more offenders, the Metropolitan Police are issuing fast new bicycles that can leave the street and climb steps. Officers are also using drones, though one policeman admitted that regular thieves have already figured out their working hours.
