London Mayor announces £1.75 weekend bus fare for summers

London families could see reduced public transport costs during summer weekends. Mayor Sir Sadiq Khan announced that bus and tram passengers will pay a single £1.75 fare for unlimited all-day weekend travel. This offer, extending the existing Hopper fare, aims to assist with expenses and runs from 25 July until 31 August.
