Liverpool beat Brighton 2-0 at Anfield to climb to fourth in the Premier League. Pascal Groß put through his own net after 17 minutes, and Alexander Isak doubled the lead four minutes later from a Barcola assist. Both goals came before the half-time break. The result was Andoni Iraola's first Premier League win at Anfield as Liverpool boss and their fourth win in a row.
