Nicky Henderson's former Champion Hurdle star Constitution Hill could not repeat his earlier Flat wins in Milan, finishing a well-beaten fifth in Sunday's Italian Group 2 Gran Premio del Jockey Club at San Siro. Ridden by jockey Rossa Ryan, the nine-year-old stayed on from the back without threatening. Marcel Weiss's German-trained Stingray won, beating compatriot Global Health, with Venetian Prince third and Dubai Honour fourth.
