Leeds and Wales legend Terry Yorath dies aged 75
Former Leeds United midfielder and Wales captain Terry Yorath has died aged 75 following a short illness, his family confirmed. Born in Cardiff, Yorath won the First Division title with Leeds in 1974 under Don Revie, making 199 appearances across nine years. He earned 59 caps for Wales and later managed the national team from 1988 to 1993, nearly leading them to the 1994 World Cup. Yorath is the father of BBC presenter Gabby Logan, who left Match of the Day mid-broadcast due to the family emergency.
