Lawmakers want to ban 'ghost job' ads after rise

About one in five job ads on digital boards are 'ghost jobs', meaning companies have no real intention of filling the role. Lawmakers in New York and Pennsylvania have proposed bills to make employers list hiring timelines and remove ads once roles are filled. Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton also launched an investigation into LinkedIn last month, claiming it profited from fake job ads.
