UK's oldest curry house fights King's property firm
This historic London spot, open since 1926, is now fighting for its future against King Charles's property company. Veeraswamy, a Michelin-starred restaurant on Regent Street, is taking the Crown Estate to court over its refused lease renewal. The Crown Estate wants to refurbish the building, but Veeraswamy's owners say they can work around it.
