FTSE 250 rises as oil prices fall
Cheaper fuel and stronger market mood helped shares move up, with travel firms among the gainers. On Monday, UK equities advanced after officials from Washington and Tehran said they'd reached an initial agreement to end their three-month conflict, pushing crude lower. By 10:48 AM GMT, the FTSE 100 stood at 10,481.76, while Brent Crude had dropped nearly 5% and Wizz Air added 5.6%.
