England's Kansas City training gear stolen en route from Florida
Preparations for a major football match could be disrupted after equipment went missing during transport to a training site. Police said on 13 June that a vehicle carrying England's practice gear to Swope Soccer Village in Kansas City had been broken into while items were being moved from Florida. Two people were detained for further enquiries, and reports said balls and boots were among the missing items.
