New Lilly drug helps patients lose 28% body weight
Patients in a trial experienced substantial body weight reductions, with many losing over 30% of their initial weight. Eli Lilly's experimental drug, retatrutide, helped participants shed an average of 28.3% of their weight over 80 weeks in a key late-stage study. Patients who received the maximum 12mg dosage experienced an average weight reduction of 70.3 pounds.
