Kimi Antonelli crashes limited edition Mercedes before Bahrain test

Mercedes driver Kimi Antonelli has emerged unscathed from a traffic incident near his San Marino residence. The young Italian was at the wheel of a rare Mercedes-AMG GT 63 when he was involved in a single-car crash that ended with the vehicle hitting a roadside barrier. While the high-performance car was badly damaged, Mercedes confirmed there were no injuries. Antonelli is due to travel to Bahrain as planned, where he will split pre-season testing responsibilities with team-mate George Russell.
