John Lewis workers get 2% pay bonus

John Lewis partners will receive an extra week's pay, marking a significant return to bonuses. The retail group restored its staff bonus, the first since 2022, following a period of underlying profit growth. This 2% payment is the first for employees in four years, having been stopped during the Covid pandemic turnaround.
