Pakistan Jets Escort Iran Envoys Amid Israeli Threat
Pakistan's air force escorted Iranian peace negotiators home from Islamabad last weekend, fearing a possible Israeli attack. Around two dozen jets and an Airborne Warning and Control System were deployed for aerial surveillance. The delegation, led by Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi and Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, had just concluded inconclusive nuclear talks with the United States.
