Suspect hits officer with stolen car, police arrest 27-year-old.
A police officer is in hospital with serious injuries after being hit during an incident involving a stolen patrol car in County Down. Police said a vehicle failed to stop around 4.45am on Sunday, and a suspect later drove a police car towards officers before fleeing. A 27-year-old man was held on suspicion of attempted murder, while the vehicle, a firearm and ammunition were recovered.
