Experts find glowing blue spider, dozens new species Angola.

Scientists recently found a unique spider in Angola that glows vibrant blue under UV light, adding to Africa's rich biodiversity. The crowned crab spider was among dozens of new species discovered during a February 2026 expedition to the remote Lisima plateau. Experts from The Wilderness Project led the survey, calling the area a 'biodiversity blank spot'.
