King Charles has opened his Caribbean tour in the Bahamas by acknowledging the suffering of the past while facing calls for slavery reparations. He told a youth rally the country's culture was born out of darkness and it was only right to recognise historic injustices. Buckingham Palace says he will not apologise or offer reparations, per government policy. The tour ends with a Commonwealth summit.
