Tory leader Kemi Badenoch has said Donald Trump earned his heavy defeat in the US midterms, calling the bruising loss entirely self-inflicted. In an Independent interview, she criticised his tariffs, his threats towards Canada and Greenland, and his rows with allies including Britain. She also branded his insults dirty, said she would not have minded a Kamala Harris win, and called Nigel Farage's Reform bonkers.
