Keir Starmer defies leadership challenge over military funding

People could face more political uncertainty as talk grows of a contest for Labour's top job following departures linked to a dispute over military funding. On Friday, Keir Starmer said he intends to remain in office and would contest any attempt to remove him. John Healey left as defence secretary, while Al Carns also quit and criticised military spending decisions.
