Santander owner targets £433m savings using AI
Santander UK, under its Spanish owner, plans to reduce costs by more than £433 million through the application of artificial intelligence. Banco Santander, the bank's Spanish parent company, expects these savings from automation and simplifying processes across its global operations. The lending giant has not announced any job cuts linked to this AI rollout, which is already improving processes.
