JP Morgan might not build new £3bn London HQ
JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon warned on Tuesday that the bank could scrap its planned £3 billion Canary Wharf headquarters if a new prime minister hostile to lenders replaces Keir Starmer. The new tower, designed by Foster + Partners, would house 12,000 staff. Dimon objected specifically to the UK's bank surcharge and bank levy, calling them unfair on lenders.
