Johanna Walsh wins Irish Oaks at Curragh on Saturday

Johanna Walsh, with jockey D. B. McMonagle, won the Juddmonte Irish Oaks, a Group 1 race, at Curragh on Saturday. The 3-year-old horse secured a victory by four lengths in the 1 mile 4 furlongs race, which had a prize fund of €290,000. Meanwhile, Cartmel and Nottingham also hosted races on Saturday, with winners including Newbrook Diamond and Bay Dream Believer.
