UK regulator bans PixVideo ad for implied clothing removal
An AI video app's advert, implying digital clothing removal from women, has been stopped by the UK's advertising watchdog for causing serious offence. The YouTube ad for PixVideo - AI Video Maker, seen in January, featured "before" and "after" images, leading to a ban from the Advertising Standards Authority in March. Eight people complained, finding the ad condoned altering women's bodies without consent and was irresponsible.
