Jessie Buckley expected to win Bafta prize on Sunday
The Irish star is currently the favourite to secure an acting trophy for portraying Agnes Hathaway inside the film Hamnet. Chloe Zhao directed the Shakespeare adaptation, setting a new record for female filmmakers by collecting eleven nods. Meanwhile, a drama created by Paul Thomas Anderson leads the overall competition with fourteen total chances to win. Ryan Coogler also earned strong recognition for his historical horror where Michael B Jordan plays twins.
