One horse dies at Grand National Festival

A horse died at the Grand National Festival after winning its race, leading to its immediate put down. Gold Dancer suffered a broken back during the Mildmay Novices' Chase on day two of the Aintree meeting, moments after crossing the finish line. Vets attended the seven-year-old horse at the racecourse, but sadly, it could not be saved, as confirmed by Aintree Racecourse.
