Japan releases 80 million barrels oil in IEA 400m effort.

Sanae Takaichi announced that Japan will begin releasing oil from its strategic reserves to stabilize markets disrupted by the Middle East conflict. Tokyo plans to release about 80 million barrels, roughly 45 days of supply, starting with 15 days of privately held reserves followed by government stockpiles.
