Jak Jones wins first snooker ranking title after 16 years

Welsh snooker player Jak Jones secured his first professional ranking title, winning the 2026 Championship League after 16 years on the tour. The 32-year-old beat England's David Gilbert 3-2 in the final in Leicester, taking home the £33,000 top prize. Jones said the win felt "unreal" and was a tribute to his wife, son, and parents who have supported him.
