Trump says the government needs a ‘kill switch’ for AI
Trump told Fox Business Network that artificial intelligence could undermine confidence in the banking system and agreed the government should have a ‘kill switch’ for the technology. He added AI could also make banking ‘better and safer.’ His comments landed days after cybersecurity experts warned that Anthropic’s new Mythos model could supercharge cyberattacks and poses significant challenges to the banking industry.
