England New Homes To Include Solar, Heat Pumps

Customers could see lower long-term energy bills, though developers will face higher initial building costs. New government planning rules require solar panels and heat pumps in all new homes in England from 2028. Each home must have solar panels covering 40% of its ground floor area and won't connect to gas networks.
