Italy airports ration jet fuel until April 9
Flights could be cut and ticket prices may rise as fuel supplies tighten. Air BP introduced limits at Milan Linate, Venice, Treviso and Bologna, giving priority to emergency and long-haul flights while shorter routes face strict caps until 9 April. Airlines warn fuel costs have climbed to $150–$200 per barrel, with some already cancelling services and others planning higher fares.
