Israeli minister to Netanyahu: give Argentina the Falklands
Israel's national security minister Itamar Ben-Gvir has urged Benjamin Netanyahu to recognise Argentine sovereignty over the Falklands and sanction Britain, posting in Spanish that the British "violently stole" the islands. He spoke a day before Israel announced retaliation for UK settlement sanctions. Argentina is currently taking legal action against Navitas, the Israeli company that operates the Falklands oil field, a $2.1bn project.
