Israel strikes Tehran, Beirut; Strait of Hormuz now closed.
Israel carried out simultaneous airstrikes on military targets in Tehran and Beirut on the fourth day of the US-Israeli war against Iran, with the IDF confirming "a wave of extensive airstrikes" in both capitals. Lebanon's Health Ministry reported at least 52 people killed and 154 wounded in strikes on Beirut's suburbs and southern Lebanon — Iran's IRGC has closed the Strait of Hormuz and continued retaliatory strikes across the Gulf. The combined death toll in Iran and Lebanon has surpassed 600.Trump warned the campaign could last four to five weeks.
