Israel says it struck Iran's presidential office in Tehran
The Israeli Air Force confirmed striking Iran's leadership complex in the heart of Tehran, including the presidential bureau and the Supreme National Security Council building. The IDF described it as the regime's most important headquarters. President Masoud Pezeshkian was confirmed unharmed, with his executive deputy and son both stating the assassination attempt had failed. Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, defence minister Aziz Nasirzadeh and IRGC commander Mohammad Pakpour were among those killed in the wider campaign.
