Iraq shuts Shalamcheh crossing after deadly strike
Food supplies into Iraq could be disrupted if the closure continues. Iraq closed the Shalamcheh crossing with Iran after airstrikes killed one Iraqi on the Iranian side and injured five others in a passenger area. Officials said drones were seen before the blasts, while authorities expect truck and passenger movement to resume once transit and passport systems are fixed.
