Iranian minister reports 56 heritage sites damaged

Iran's cultural heritage minister Reza Salehi Amiri says the US-Israel war has deliberately targeted the country's historical identity, damaging at least 56 museums and monuments since the conflict began on February 28. Nineteen sites were damaged in Tehran alone, including the Grand Bazaar. The US and Israel say they are striking military targets. UNESCO has independently verified damage to several Iranian heritage sites.
